Christmas Banner for Friday

Wow, I sure hope you enjoyed the Sudsol Blog Tour yesterday.  So many amazing projects, I hope you bookmarked them for future use.  I wanted to let you know that there is a new feature on my blog…at the bottom of every post now, you are able to download the post as a PDF file and/or print the post, if your interested.  It is the little green button at the bottom.

Thank you to those who left all of your kind comments on my projects yesterday, you really made my dayBe right back

Today I hope I make yours.  A fellow demonstrator Cindee Wilkinson shared with us a Christmas banner which she used our new Simply Scored tool to make.  So of course I had to make my own version too, here are some pics

I really had a fun time making this and I finally have a good reason to those little wooden wreaths that I have been hoarding the last few years.  I wouldn’t make anything for my door that I wouldn’t be proud of showing it off.  I really hope you like it.

I grabbed my distressing kit and used the blue to stamp the Merry Christmas and edging of the Very Vanilla CS.  I wanted a little bit different coloring here so I could add interest.

Here is a list of the products I used:

  • Silver Glimmer Paper
  • Cherry Cobbler CS
  • Distressing Tools
  • Old Olive 1 1/4” Grosgrain Striped Ribbon
  • Very Vanilla CS
  • Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink Pad
  • Basic Pearls
  • Small Wooden Wreath
  • Buttons
  • Basic Pearls
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Simply Scored Tool
  • 3/8” Velvet Stitched Ribbon
  • Holly Berry Bouquet DSP
  • Hand Penned Holiday Stamp Set
  • Stocking Builder Punch

For exact measurements and how to make those medallions you can find the tutorial HERE

Have an awesome weekend!
