Memories

You know this is a the start of a new year, you make resolutions, you think positive thoughts, and you hope things are better or get even better than last.

You don't expect to think that bad things will happen so soon and when you look back and see how things have changed over a small period of time.  If you are wondering what I am talking about you have probably seen the news lately and wonder what on earth is going on.  Bad weather, unusual bird deaths and so forth.

I don't mean to be sounding so sad but this morning and late last night I received some very bad news and find myself AGAIN making more sympathy cards.  You see this morning I lost a Great Uncle to cancer, I am going out of town this weekend to visit (hopefully, if she makes it) my Aunt who is dying of lung cancer.  This is a second Aunt to die of this disease in the last year and half.  In fact I have lost 4 family members and one family friend during that time.  Sooo that being said I am sharing with you the card that I made multiples of with you.  Our Stampin' Up! stamp set Thoughts and Prayers has been used an awful lot lately, take a look...

I have always preferred the simple and yet elegant cards and this is why I do them.  So if you are a newsletter subscriber there will be a delay to my mid month issue and the same with my online class will also be delayed.  The next time you hear from me I will be in more of a jovial mood and all I ask of you this weekend is to hug the ones you love, including the furry ones  LOL.
