Happy Birthday A A Milne--Vintage Vogue for you!

The creator of the ever lovable classic tale Winnie the Pooh, A A Milne was born on this date in 1882.  So I wanted to celebrate his birthday because this story holds a spot in my heart from childhood and now in my children's heart!  Happy Birthday Mr. A A Milne.

Now onto the next item for discussion is the very elegant, very beautiful Vintage Vogue stamp set (#117690 or clear #118598).  This was a Sudsol entry for a stamp set challenge and I hope you like it as much as I do...

A very simple card and here is the tutorial:

1. Take the Mellow Moss CS at 8.5" x 5.5" and fold with your bone folder
2. Cut your Basic Black into 1.5 x 5.5 and 2.75 x 2.75
3. and cut your Whisper White into 2.5 x 2.5 and use your Whisper White scraps
4. Use the long piece of your basic black and attatch to the base with your snail.
5. Take your 2.5" whisper white piece and stamp the 'F' in black and the leaves in Mellow Moss Stampin' Classic Ink Pad.

6. Back to the base piece take your large handled stampin' wheel and use the Very Vintage wheel.  Run it along the mellow moss classic ink pad and roll it along the edge of the card.
7. Attach the stamped whisper white piece to the extra black piece.  Then attach them with stampin dimensionals to the base of the card.
8. Take the flower stamp and stamp on the scrap black classic ink pad then cut it out.
9. Grab your crop-a-dile and punch a whole with the 3/16" puncher (video tutorial for the use of the crop-a- dile on Thursday).  Grab your jumbo eyelet and set it with your crop a dile.

Have an awesome day!
