I wanted to let you know that I am going to take this week off and I didn’t want to have you wondering where I was. In case you didn’t notice on the countdown Christmas is fast approaching and I have so much to do. I still have more Christmas cards to make, teacher’s gifts to make, projects to finish. I will be showcasing all of these in the next few weeks so you can prepare yourselves. While your here use the QR code to keep informed of my blog updates and until then I will see you Monday.
Hang in there we will get through this holiday together!
This weeks trivia question was, ‘What is the oldest Christmas Parade in the world?’ The answer is this:
In 1905 , the worlds first Santa Claus Parade was held in Toronto. It was a small affair that year, amounting to a solitary Santa walking from the city’s Union Station up Yonge Street to the Eaton’s department store. The parade quickly grew and, despite financial difficulties that nearly derailed the event in the 1980’s, the Toronto Santa Claus is still a popular annual tradition that is broadcast around the world.
Have a great weekend!
Well this just completely made my day, I received an email yesterday from a wonderful lady who picked me to receive this cool blogger award!

I was shocked, thrilled and completely surprised! This is what she said:
“I just stumbled upon your blog and you have a really great craft site! I like that you showcase so many different crafting ideas and your other projects are interesting too. You have great photography and your instructions are easy to follow and thought your site was particularly exceptional.”
So I am going to send out a shout out to all of you for being so kind to take the time to visit me, for letting me share my life with you and for sharing my love for all things crafty! Thank You!
I will see you tomorrow!![]()
